Burnet County has 19 approved voting precincts and approximately 35,500 registered voters. If requested by a city, school district, or other political subdivision in Burnet County, the elections administrator will enter into a contract to conduct its elections.
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the information in this website current. However, you are encouraged shortly before early voting starts for any election to revisit this site to confirm the location of early voting places and Election Day polling locations. “House Bill 25, passed during the 85th Legislative Session, eliminated straight party voting effective September 1, 2020 (Section 64.004, Texas Election Code). If you wish to vote for all of the candidates affiliated with one party, you should select each candidate one at a time on your ballot.”
